These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Mirror Field ("Service"), operated by Roman Seregin ("we", "us", "our"), an individual operating from Argentina. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. Description of the Service
Mirror Field is a reflective journaling application. It uses AI to generate written reflections based on classical symbolic frameworks used as reference vocabulary. Reflections are produced by language models and are intended for personal journaling. They do not constitute medical, psychological, legal, financial, or any other professional advice. Do not rely on them to make important life decisions.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or purchase a subscription. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Account
You sign in with a Google account via Google OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at q@mirrorfield.online if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid subscriptions (weekly, monthly, and annual plans) are processed by Lemon Squeezy (Lemon Squeezy, LLC), our payment processor. By subscribing you authorise Lemon Squeezy to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the plan interval you selected. Prices are displayed before purchase and may be shown inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes depending on your region.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel beforehand. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the customer portal linked in your account settings or by writing to q@mirrorfield.online.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; you retain access to paid features until that date. We do not charge cancellation fees.
6. Refund Policy
If you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the original purchase date by contacting q@mirrorfield.online. Refund requests made after 14 days will not be granted except where required by applicable law. Refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy and may take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.
Where local consumer-protection law grants additional refund rights (for example, the EU Consumer Rights Directive or Argentine Ley de Defensa del Consumidor No. 24.240), those rights apply alongside this policy and are not limited by it.
7. User Content
You retain ownership of the journal entries and other content you create in the Service. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process that content solely to operate and improve the Service. We do not sell your content or share it with third parties for advertising purposes.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
- attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse our APIs;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity;
- transmit malicious code or interfere with the Service's operation.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.
9. Intellectual Property
All software, design, text, and other materials comprising the Service (excluding your content) are owned by or licensed to Roman Seregin and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without our written permission.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for any purpose.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Roman Seregin shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. In any case, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic, including the Civil and Commercial Code and Ley de Defensa del Consumidor No. 24.240, without regard to conflict- of-law principles. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Argentina, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
